Craig & Jennifer Chevalier, Traveling the World!
The Traveling Chevaliers is made up of husband and wife team Craig and Jen Chevalier.
Craig has worked in the financial field for almost 20 years and has taken numerous budgeting and management courses. He has done extensive studying in the field of travel. He has passed a series of courses offered through our host agency, ViaPro, and has been designated Travel to Italy Expert by the Italian Tourism Board, Ireland Specialist by Tourism Ireland, and Certified Viking Expert by Viking Cruises. In 2024 Craig will complete the last requirement in a three-year program to become a Certified Group Travel Specialist.
Jennifer is a CFO at a local nonprofit by day and a travel planner/researcher by all other times of the day. She has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from SUNY Canton and is the math portion/budgeter of our duo. She pays great attention to detail, which is imperative to our itinerary planning for you.
“We got married in 2016 and while planning our honeymoon dreamed of a trip to Italy to celebrate our nuptials. We thought this dream to be impossible and brought ourselves back to the reality of a Northeastern United States destination. While deep in our research for vacation hot spots such as Cape Cod, we were surprised by the high cost. The idea to take a peak at flights and hotels to Italy was born. We were again shocked at the prices. But this time in the most splendid way. Flights to Rome and a boutique hotel in the heart of the city were a fraction of the cost to most places we were looking at. From there a life changing experience began for The Traveling Chevaliers. Our honeymoon was everything you would hope for and we came back on a mission. We wanted to share our discoveries and tell everyone that European travel is not just for the wealthy. With a plan and some research you can start checking off your bucket list places. What we soon discovered was it was more than money holding people back from hitting the “Book It” button. There was a very real anxiety surrounding the planning aspect of travel to a foreign land. We started with our blog to help alleviate those fears. We found this helped the dreamers to dream bigger, but still no booked travel. That’s when the idea to start a travel agency of our own came to fruition.”
